Hi, I’m Carolyn Haven, thanks for stopping by BirdBathBubbler.com. If you have questions about solar powered bird baths – I can help you get answers.
How I Got Interested in Solar Powered Bird Baths…
Initially, I wasn’t looking to add a birdbath to my backyard. I live in California, and with all of the wildfires we’ve been having, I just wanted to put out a water basin for the animals.
However, I realized that not only did the deer and turkeys love it, but my homemade watering hole has turned into a very popular bird bath. Actually, that happened after I added a birdbath bubbler, which I originally put in to circulate the water and keep mosquitos away.
In the process of making my own solar bird bath fountain, I learned how to make my fountain ultra low-maintenance. I mean, who wants a garden fountain that requires a lot of work, right?
So, I started using algae/water clarifier to prevent algae from growing in the water. Of course, this keeps the water clean, but it also optimizes water flow through the pump as well (bonus!).

I eventually connected my bird bath to the drip irrigation system in my backyard. That was one of the best decisions, because now I no longer have to refill the basin as water evaporates. It refills automatically every few days.
You can do this too – it’s not hard or expensive. In fact, you may already have a water basin or birdbath at home that you can use.
Anyway, let me know if you have questions, problems or issues about bird bath bubblers. I’m happy to help!
Carolyn
